How do you process change?

The only constant in life is change but for many, change often comes with a mix of thoughts, feelings, and emotions.
For some, change signifies a sense of loss for that which felt familiar, comfortable, or known. For others, change represents opportunity, possibility and a chance to start anew.
Learning to channel a more optimistic mindset and positive attitude toward change - focusing less on what could go wrong and more on all that could go right - can minimize the build-up of stress, anxiety, worry, fear, and limiting thoughts that can arise when resistance is present.
While optimism and positivity won’t lessen the change challenge, it will change how YOU chose to process, adapt, and move through the change in a more empowering way.
Whether a change you are facing impacts you personally or professionally, opening the aperture and viewing the change through a lens of greater clarity, understanding and exploration of the potential change opportunities and possibilities embedded within, can allow for thoughts to emerge on how you might create, pursue, or address ways to improve the change impact.
Change acceptance is a process that requires you to acknowledge and make peace with a reality you may not be able to control but a choice you get to make to move through the change with a mindset and in a manner that best serves you.
What change are you anticipating? How might you channel a mindset of optimism amidst the change? What would change acceptance look like and feel like for you? When was a time you experienced growth through change? How might you view change as a bridge versus barrier?
